The Ray-Maxx DuoTherm solar pool cover is the first cover to offer the attractive appearance of a blue Solar Pool Cover on the topside, while maintaining all the benefits of a clear cover, utilizing a clear layer on the underside. 

Outperforms standard blue solar pool covers, traditional clear covers, black covers or blue / black covers. Using this unique cover will allow your pool to reach a maximum temperature, without the use on an external heating source. 

All Ray-Maxx™covers are now available with the Easy Draining Solar Cover™ Option. This option extends the life of the cover and makes the cover much easier to use. 

This Solar Cover is manufactured using a unique extrusion technique, not used in most other Pool Covers of far less quality. A Solar cover that is extruded will always outlast the more conventional Solar Cover sold by many of our competitors. 

This Solar Pool Cover will simply outperform cheaper imitations. Still made in the USA, & a great value!

What is the Easy Draining Solar Cover™ option? It is an all new, but simple idea (patent pending) that makes handling your Solar Cover much easier, as well as extends the life of the cover!

A series of small drain holes get installed in the Solar Cover. These 5 small holes embedded in the cover allow for water to pass through the cover when removing it.

As little 1/32 of an inch of water on a Solar Cover can make a solar cover very heavy. This can also make the cover hard to reel in, and cause stress and or damage to the cover over time when you try to pull or reel in the cover without some form of drains.

Selecting the Easy Draining Solar Cover™ option available with any of our Ray-Maxx™ Solar Covers will almost instantly aid in the removal of water from on top of the Solar Cover when pulling or reeling the cover in. This eliminates the weight on top of the cover, making the cover easier to handle, reduces cover / reel stress & extends the life of your cover.

Not only does the Solar Cover become much lighter and easier to use, this inexpensive option will more than pay for itself with the added life expectancy that it adds to your new Solar Cover. Typically adding more than a few seasons of life expectancy to any cover.

Customers that live in areas where wind conditions can become higher than average sometimes experience their Solar Cover Blowing Off. Using Wind Weights with your cover will reduce the chances of this happening. Nobody wants to get ready for a swim and find out their water is cold because the cover blew off. 

What is the Wind Weight option? 

This option is a series of weights that you lay on top of the Solar Cover. They are easy to put on and take off. They ensure the cover stays on the pool, so you can make sure your pool is always at it's warmest temperature, and conserving energy if you use a heating system.

Want The Maximum Life From Your Cover?
Cover Extender Formula is a revolutionary new product that assists owners in getting the maximum life out of their pool covers. This unique formula removes chemical residues that cause pool covers to break down, helps protect covers from UV damage, as well as chemical damage such as delamination, bubble flaking and general cover deterioration.

Chemical residue, UV damage, and chemical damage are some of the main causes of premature cover deterioration and ultimately cover failure. Apply this product to the cover twice a year, for a protected, long lasting cover.

Recommended for all pool covers as one step of a proper pool maintenance plan, especially covers used when chemicals are applied to the swimming pool, such as solar covers.

Customizing Solar Pool Covers

While Solar Pool Covers do not come in custom sizes or shapes, all of our solar pool covers can be easily trimmed to a smaller size, as well as to any shape required. Simply lay the cover on the pool, and use a sharp pair of scissors to cut the cover as desired. 

Always order a cover larger than needed so you have enough material to cover the pool after trimming!
